Aren't these eyes gorgeous! Aunt Lacey took this picture! This is the sweetest child and just melts my heart everytime I hear his voice. This is my 3 year old grandson, Logan. I will post pictures of the other two grandchildren in the next few days. Just got to get them to my laptop!!

Weekend Times

I love the weekends!! I have to say that I love my job, but I love weekends better. My back is finally feeling better and I was able to clean my house a little yesterday. I'll be really thrilled when I feel like REALLY cleaning and get my house back into shape. I will have to say that Phil has been fantastic in helping me keep things neat and clean and does the laundry. He has been a great help during the last year!! I fell last January and broke my left arm and impacted my right elbow and I haven't been able to do much of anything around the house since.

Then the Saturday before the Super Bowl I woke up and couldn't walk. I've been going to the chiropractor twice a week for that which was caused by my car accident on December 6th. I've just had a year of issues with my health and I'm ready for it to be over. I've never been a sickly person so this is kind of hard to deal with.

Well, I'm going to take some new pictures of the grandbabies to put up here so you can see how they've grown. The problem is gettin them from the camera to the laptop to the blog :-)

Update on Family!

Well it's been forever since I posted something on here but it takes time and after sitting at a computer all day at work it's not my most desired activity!!! (and I couldn't remember my password either, LOL).

It is hard to believe that the baby I posted about last is now 7 mos old. He's getting so big and now the big brother is very thrilled with him. Logan actually wants to hold him now, especially when he sees his big sister holding the baby. I love how Caden lights up when I walk in the door and he sees me. He starts making those sweet sounds of excitement and just warms my heart. Of course the other two are in competition with that and talking at the same time. I just love it!!! It is so wonderful being a grandmother!!

On the other side of things the grandbabies great-grandmother will be 90 years old in July. She is the only living great grandparent so you know we will be making a big deal out of it. Caden will also be 1 year old the same week so it's going to be a fun, busy time of celebration.

Finally Figured It Out

Well, I finally figured out how to post some pictures of the grandkids so here is one. Poor Logan doesn't know what to do with this new little person.

I can't believe that Caden is 5 weeks old already and changing so much. I will post updated pictures of him next week.

I will be in Ft. Lauderdale taking a grant writing class so when I get back I'll update again.

Caden Wilson Boone

Mom & Baby are home from the hospital and bonding more and more with Morgan & Logan. Morgan is so sweet and just the little mother, however, Logan is still not so sure what is going on. He will walk over to Caden and look at his feet but not much else. When you ask Logan if he wants to see his baby brother he says, "not yet" and goes about what he is doing. I'm sure he will come around soon because Caden is so cute.

He's finally here!!!

Well Caden Wilson Boone has finally arrived at 2:10 am this morning (7/4/08). He weighed in at 8 lbs. 9 ozs and was 21 3/4 inches long. He has the largest feet I've ever seen on a newborn. He's so cute with a full head of dark brown hair. He already has his "pouty" face down. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Mom and Baby are doing fantastic!!!

Grandbaby! Not yet!

Well, we're still in wait mode. Tomorrow, June 28th is the actual due date so we'll see what happens over the weekend. We are thinking it would really be cool if Amanda gave birth on July 1st because that is Ganny's (Phil's Mom's) birthday. But we all know that babies come in God's time and that isn't always the way we want it to happen.

I was teasing Amanda and told her if she wanted to go into labor to just let her house become a wreck and sure enough she would have that baby. She said she just couldn't do that. I can't say that I blame her because I couldn't do it either.
