Lacey saw Kaison's checks were real pink so she grabbed the Santa hat and put it on him. Here is the wonderful result of that combination!! I just love it!!

Here are some new pictures taken of Kai between 8 & 9 weeks old.
The photographer is a friend of Lacey & Brady's. She did a fantastic job and Kai was so cooperative.

WOW! I can't believe how fast time flies...Kaison is 6 weeks old already.

Here are some pictures that Lacey sent to me on my blackberry that are just to cute to keep to myself. Lacey is doing so well with getting out with Kai and doing fun things.

However, we (Lacey and I) met for lunch the other day and it was a small disaster. Kai woke up and needed to eat every few minutes and I had Caden with me. I didn't know that Caden doesn't sit in a booster seat in a booth too well!! LOL He slipped out of the booster and almost fell under the table except that Lacey caught him first. It really was kind of funny. Caden did NOT get hurt in any way shape of form. I think he thought it was funny.

Our Newest Addition to the Family

Well, on Saturday, April 17, 2010 Anthony Kaison Benigas (Kai) arrived at 6:57 pm weighing in at 9 lbs. 2 oz. and was 21" long. He has light brown hair with blonde highlights!!


Lacey had to have a C-Section for "failure to progress" but she is doing fantastic. The baby is sleeping great at night and is such a sweetheart!!! Dad is about to catch up on his sleep, I think!! We bought him some ear plugs because he heard every little grunt and groan that Kai made during the night and was waking up quite a bit. LOL

The cousins: Morgan, Logan and Caden met him for the first time last Friday evening and as you can see in these pictures they are quite taken with Kai.

Spring is HERE!!! YAY!!!

WOW! I can't believe Spring is here already. It seems like it was just Christmas and now the weather is finally feeling like Florida weather should.

I got a job February 1st and am now the Director of Fund-raising for the Paula Dockery for Governor Campaign. She is a sitting State Senator so the fund-raising is on hold during session which runs from March 2nd-April 30th so we will be hitting the ground running hard in May to raise funds for the campaign.

I hope to have pictures on the campaign road posted here soon.
